Suspected bandits have attacked Unguwan Talle community in Nasarawan Doya District of Makarfi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, kidnapping two locals. The victims were taken away into the forest during the early morning raid that left residents terrified. The incident was disclosed by a resident, Abdullahi Nakotu. He described how the bandits arrived in large numbers and overran the community while villagers were still asleep. Nakotu explained that the armed men stormed the settlement in the dead of night. He said: “Bandits in large number in the early hours of today attacked a community in Kaduna State.” He further revealed that the attackers abducted two villagers before fleeing into the bush. In his words, “According to the citizen, the bandits in the attack at Unguwan Talle in Nasarawan Doya District of Makarfi local government area of Kaduna State, kidnapped two locals and went away into the forest.” The National Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Muhammad Kaddae Suleiman, hails from Nasarawan Doya District, the wider area now grappling with insecurity. This incident adds to the growing list of violent attacks in Kaduna State.
