Bandits in Kaduna State continue to strike with seeming impunity, as another attack occurred on Wednesday night in the state. It was learnt that in the latest incident, gunmen abducted nine locals in the Kajuru Local Government Area. A source from Kasuwan Magani confirmed the tragic incident. According to the source, the bandits attacked Rafin Roro village, shooting sporadically. The traditional ruler of the village, Mallam Adamu Auta, escaped, but nine members of his immediate and extended family were kidnapped. The source added that the bandits had been consistently kidnapping residents and rustling cattle, incidents that have largely gone unreported.
